We had an absolutely amazing experience at Orion’s Roof! I surprised my wifey with a birthday dinner, and everything was truly perfect from the incredible food and breathtaking ocean views to the beautiful sunset. He secured us an amazing table. I enjoyed the grilled prime ribeye with ginger sauce, while she had the whole seared branzino, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. It was the perfect setting for a special celebration! A huge shoutout to Steven Kroll, who truly takes hospitality to the next level! His service was impeccable, and he went above and beyond to make our evening special. Steven genuinely understands what it means to be a great server very attentive, personable, and committed to providing nothing but excellent service. We especially appreciated the amazing table with an even better view and the warm hospitality he showed us throughout the evening. Thank you, Steven, for helping make my wife’s birthday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

Orion's Roof has officially become our go-to whenever we're in Virginia Beach. We first discovered it for our anniversary back in March, and after last night, it's confirmed, this is our spot. Reservations are recommended, and for good reason, this place seems to fill up every night. I booked about a week out once we'd finalized our trip, and I'd tell anyone else to do the same. We were seated with an absolutely stunning ocean view, most tables are positioned to take advantage of it, and being 23 stories up on top of the Marriott Oceanfront makes for one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Virginia Beach. The service was top notch from the moment we walked in. You're acknowledged by everyone you pass, and the whole staff makes you feel like a regular even if it's only your second visit. Our server, Katie, was second to none. Attentive without ever interrupting, she let the rhythm of the evening be dictated by us rather than by a script, which is a rarer skill than people realize. The food was excellent across the board. My wife had the edamame appetizer, the swordfish, and finished with a scoop of mango sorbet. I had the pot stickers, the black cod, which is one of the ch

Visited this restaurant on a work trip, and man, oh man, what an amazing evening it was. The views were absolutely stunning, and the cocktails, food, and service were all impeccable. We had the mussels to start, followed by the poke nachos and scallops. I can honestly say I've never had mussels as delicious as these. The green curry, coconut, and lemongrass broth was just exploding with flavor. Honestly, I haven't enjoyed a dish this much in a very long time. Sitting there on the 23rd floor with a cocktail in hand, eating those incredible mussels, and looking out over the ocean was pure heaven. If you're in the area, this place is an absolute must. Reservations are a must.

Mother’s Day brunch at Orion’s Roof ended up being a beautiful experience overall. At first, we were seated at a small walled-in two person table that honestly didn’t match the special vibe we were hoping for, especially for Mother’s Day. We really wanted to enjoy the beach views and atmosphere the restaurant is known for. Luckily, after speaking with the staff, they accommodated us and moved us outside with a beach view, and that completely changed the experience for us. Once we were moved, the atmosphere, food, and overall experience became so much more enjoyable and memorable. The food was delicious, the views were beautiful, and we truly enjoyed ourselves in the end. Thankful they worked with us to make our Mother’s Day brunch feel special. 🌊💐

The Orion at the Marriott in Virginia Beach has one of the most incredible restaurant locations I’ve ever experienced. The uninterrupted ocean views are simply breathtaking. Sitting there and looking out at the Atlantic Ocean gives you a sense of calm and relaxation that’s hard to find anywhere else. The outdoor patio is especially awesome. It’s the perfect place to sit back, enjoy the ocean breeze, and take in the panoramic views. Whether you’re there during the day with sunlight reflecting off the water or in the evening as the atmosphere becomes more relaxed, the setting is absolutely beautiful. We ended up visiting multiple times during our stay, stopping by for both lunch and dinner, and every visit was consistently great. The food was excellent, with well-prepared dishes and good portion sizes. The cocktails were amazing as well — refreshing, well crafted, and perfect for enjoying while looking out at the ocean. The overall vibe is fantastic. It feels lively yet relaxed, making it a great spot whether you want a casual drink, a full meal, or simply a place to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, which added to the positive experience. Between the great food, ama
